Recovery.
How long does it take to recover from a Rhinoplasty?
Bruising and swelling usually lasts for 10-14 days for most patients. You can use makeup to cover up any leftover bruising after 7 days. Normal sense of smell returns within 4 to 6 weeks. Patients can return to their normal physical activities after 3 to 4 weeks, but should avoid contact sports and activities for at least 8 weeks. Desk activities, such as computer work and paperwork, can be resumed 2 to 3 days after surgery..
