The Brazilian Butt Lift
Fat transfers are safe procedures that can make anybody achieve a more attractive and firm body, especially in the rear area.
Fat transfer to the buttocks is very effective and is safer than saline or silicone implants. Using your own fat and cells, your body won’t encounter allergic reactions or rejections of any sort. Unlike implants, fat transfer incisions are small and only have to be large enough to suction the fat and place it where it needs to be. Because of its use of small incisions, fat transfers heal quickly and can be done in unnoticeable places of your buttocks.
The most popular form of fat transfer right now in the United States is called the Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL). The procedure removes fat from where it is plentiful in your body, including the abdomen, hips, thighs, and back. The fat is stored and then purified, and afterwards is injected into the buttocks to enhance both shape and volume.
What to expect after a BBL
The procedure only takes a few hours to complete, and the initial recovery time is within two to three days. It is recommended to take off a couple of days after the surgery, and to avoid stress on your rear by reclining on your stomach while in bed.
The results are immediate, but it takes a couple of months for the full shape of your new buttocks to appear. While waiting, you may experience swelling and some irritation, but these are common post-surgical complaints. In the period when you are resting, your body will integrate the new fat cells into the surrounding tissues. Some might be reabsorbed, but one shouldn’t worry as this is normal.
Both men and women can benefit from a fat transfer to the buttocks, as it can shape their body the way they want it and boost their confidence.
